Before submitting an application for testing, please ensure that the requirements in the following list are met:

The developer has the necessary Intellectual Property Rights to submit the application for testing.

Submit only applications that are in a salable state--i.e., no known bugs are present and the version submitted is considered to be final.

The developer should read all the test criteria in the
Unified Testing Criteria
document prior to submitting the application to ensure best chance of passing.

If applications use persistent storage, the developer should ensure that no conditions such as memory full can occur and that applications in a suite can share data without error.

In network-enabled applications the server(s) software or access over the Internet to the server(s) must be made available during testing.

If applications use a hardware component other than the wireless device, the developer must make that hardware component available during testing.

Each developer entering the program must complete the Java Verified Program Agreement and return signed copies to Java Verified Program Office according to the procedure described in the contract. In addition, developer must, for each application submitted for testing, complete and submit a separate Exhibit B according to description. Developer only have to sign the full agreement once but provide an Exhibit B for each application. The signing of the agreement allows you to take part in the program, submit applications for testing and signing and also enable you to use the Java Powered logo to promote your application, if your application passes testing.
Note:
You must embed the Java Powered logo prior to submitting your application for testing. Because of the digital signing process, you cannot add the logo after your application has been tested.
