The Java Verified Program provides a streamlined testing process for mobile Java technology applications, enabling developers and wireless operators to confidently develop, deliver and monetize mobile applications. As an open, industry-driven effort, the Java Verified Program is the first program to utilize the testing framework developed by the Unified Testing Initiative (UTI).

The Java Verified Program also provides an easy way to promote applications to leading device manufacturers, distributors and wireless network operators, and to bring those applications to market. Developers of applications that pass Java Verified testing may elect to be included in the member companies' and participating operators' online catalogs (e.g. Java.com) for global marketing and promotion, and to utilize the Java Powered™ logo within their applications.
